With my work I am endlessly trying to capture the play of light and shadow in the way that this tends to evoke emotion, memories or atmosphere.

My career background has been agriculture, the built environment and in magazine publishing. I have edited a farming weekly and worked as a publisher with Building, Property Week and RIBA Journal. I have even launched a Russian-language magazine called Building Russia. So I tend to search out subjects from a journalistic perspective – scenes with something to say!
