Jessica Saraga’s work

I am a painter and print-maker, working mainly in figure and landscape studies, so the Drawing London Group provides a great opportunity to explore and work with the urban landscape and its inhabitants. I work in oil, watercolour, ink and charcoal and enjoy mixing these media, often incorporating print-making as well.
I trained over a number of years in short courses at Wimbledon College of Art, the City Lit, and other adult colleges, combining artistic practice with a career in education and government. I now lecture on art on an occasional basis to art societies and adult groups, including at the two London Tate Galleries, where I am also a Guide.
I exhibit with Kew Printmakers as well as with the Drawing London Group, and also with the Croydon Art Society, which is Leisure Painter’s 2018 Art Club of the Year.
