John Crane’s approach

I prefer to draw and paint in situ with as little added studio work as possible. The river has always been a focus for me and over many years have drawn and painted from open landscape to the bustle of London – an endless source of material. Away from the London Drawing Group drawing and travelling are always a passion plus people at the seaside another favourite.
