The ‘Drawing London’ Group seeks to explore London and its environs in an imaginative way, discovering through the tools of pencil, chalk and brush, familiar and lesser known places in London. Every 18 months or so, we exhibit our works, in pencil, charcoal, paint and print. There are around 20 of us in the group and we meet to draw inside and out throughout the year aiming to capture and express the atmosphere, excitement, lights, shadows, colours and tones of London and its people.
This website records the activities of our group through the illustrated diaries of our meetings over the years.
